During RBMA I really didn't have time to shoot for myself....hence the slack on the posting. Thank goodness for my trip to see my brother because if that wouldn't have happened who knows what I would have done. The one thing I have learned about photography and how to get better is to CONSTANTLY be shooting. No matter what have your camera in hand and just shoot your surroundings. I think that is why I love lifestyle photography so much. You never know what is going to happen next, and if you happen to catch an awesome moment you feel like a million bucks.
Yesterday I told my roommate we should go to soho, and shoot around to help me get back into the swing of things. She loved the idea and it really helped me get inspired again. Her fro-like hair and natural beauty made my pictures what they are. We walked the pebbled streets and she also go a couple shots me too. I am not a fan of pictures but she actually got some decent ones. Also there is the crazy "emma face" to add to the bunch. haha
Then we walked from Soho to Chinatown so I could show her the famous Cheeky's. Jay was there and made Sarah's first experience delicious to say the least! As you will see she very much enjoyed it. I also got a new sandwich called the veggie I think. It was actually delicious and a nice break from the fried chicken sandwich which is also amazing. We ended the night taking some night shots that you may get to see later....
xx
