I couldn't agree more..this weekend I got to hangout with actually someone who has been my neighbor since I was a little one. haha
She is actually more the age of my brothers, but Mary Craig is one awesome chic. I am glad that I am finally at an age where we can hang out and have an awesome time. She lives in the financial district with her handsome John Travolta look-alike husband (JT from the Grease days...not nowadays haha.) By the way below you will see the picture of her ring....beautiful to say the least. Anyways she came over to Brooklyn the other day to have lunch and I got to show her around the area a little. We started off at Cafe Colette and if you live in Brooklyn and haven't been--> you are missing out! I got the french toast...as per usual..and Mary Craig got the Burger. We may have also gotten a iced chocolate chip scone to go with it, but we can keep that on the hush hush....
Anyways we had a great day filled with delicious food, walking and of course people-watching. That is probably one of my favorite things to do here. Of course not in a creepy way, but more the fact that everyone here is so put together and gorgeous that you can't stop starring. Soon I will start shooting for my Portfolio and I think I am going to end up pulling people off the side of the street to be my models rather then finding them through agencies. I love the whole organic thing even when it comes to finding the models that I will use for the pictures.
For example in the cafe this girl sat beside me and the way she braided her hair was amazing. She also looked like a mermaid and her whole outfit was of course KILLING IT. I naturally butted in and asked if she wouldn't mind taking a quick photo and she didn't care but she also didn't stay still very still long so I only got one shot but I actually kind of like it, and it made me think on my feet which was nice. Anyways I hope everyone has an awesome Monday...I am off to help my photography mentor on a week long shoot that started today for SUNO clothing!
